Travel By Heart: Day 05 – Paradise Island 01/02

Paradise Island, Canigao.

Paradise Island, Canigao.

It was Christmas day, I thought all establishments and attractions will be closed as everyone was celebrating the holiday. Good thing I followed my gut instincts, the security guard from the hotel told me that there’s really beautiful island just south of Leyte, he even said that it’s way better than Boracay.

Travel By Heart: Day 04 – To reminisce a tragedy 03/03

I love reading books!

Flashback:

After almost getting everyone back in the hotel we proceeded to rest. I then realised that I was bleeding again, I got a pillow cover and stripped it to cover my wound. Then someone informed me that apparently there’s a doctor 2 floors above us and she was treating the injured.

A place connected by small wooden bridges.

A place connected by small wooden bridges.

I arrived at Lavezares which looks like a small town just before I get to Barobaybay, to make sure I’m going to the right direction I decided to ask the locals about the place. Slow down and you will find something interesting.

Slow down… you might find something interesting.

Time to go, tourists are starting to pour in. In a few minutes, this place will be filled with people taking selfies. I’m not exactly a people person, yes I might be able to talk to families and converse with individuals whom I don’t know. But there’s something about being in big crowds that really stresses me, I actually skipped two big events during my PH tour because of it. Continue reading

Travel By Heart: Day 01 – Not a lot is needed in order to give.

The other side of Mayon.

The other side of Mayon.

I’m on my way to Bicol now, there is some kind of itch within me that makes me want to leave the island of Luzon as soon as I can. I felt like I’m not having a proper adventure while I’m still here. I can ride to any part of Luzon anytime I wish because it’s just big island and I have been to the most notable places.
