This is my cousin that I have only met for the first time. I wanted to take a photo of him in the most natural way possible. For some strange reason I just blurted out “Who’s your favorite superhero?” He said with a very big smile on his face “Ironman!”.
As we head on leaving Mel, I noticed that Jaime was getting more and more confident riding the mud. She was slipping less, there are times wherein she didn’t even place her foot on the ground to maneuver. She was amazing to watch, given that this is her first time to ride trails.
I thought the training would hold me back in terms of visiting new places. It seems that its doing the opposite.

Machine mastery is very evident, attitude very confident, relating a good story the most prominent. The man that made me want to buy a dual-sport motorcycle, made me want to learn riding skills on the dirt, on trails and made me believe that indeed 90% of the worlds population are good people. His words made me realise that wealth in terms experiences is much better than any form of material wealth. One of the few people that I look up to, the Motonomad Adam Reimann.
When things don’t go as planned or when I feel burnt out because of work, I ride my motorcycle.
Theres a certain sense of peace that engulfs me when I go out riding. Some say it’s because you are one with your environment while others say it’s because you are a participant in an event that is unfolding and not merely watching, both are quite poetic even romantic. As for me it’s still undefined and I don’t mind it being that way, at least for now.
East of Metro Manila theres a province that I visit quite frequently when I want to feel that certain sense of peace, it’s called Quezon.

It was my first glimpse as to what adventure motorcycle riding is all about. After watching all the available episodes in Youtube about their motorcycle adventure I began to dream. That dream was to be on a motorcycle adventure, travelling, documenting and exploring my own country. But that dream was short lived, or was it? Reality check, I only have a few months of riding experience under my belt, I barely know anything about motorcycles or how it works and lastly I don’t have the financial capability to do it.
